I am
pleased to share an updated timeline for the resurface of our clay tennis
courts. Australian Courtworks is currently working on a hard court
resurface at another facility in Austin, which has unfortunately been slightly
delayed due to the recent inclement weather. Once this project is
completed, which we expect to take roughly 14 days, 80 tons of clay will be
delivered and the repairs will start on our courts. In the meantime we
have started work on the irrigation system, and will begin preparing the site
for the resurfacing. The total project time once started will be
2-3 weeks, and based on this we have set a target date of June 1st to reopen the
courts. In addition to the obvious improvement on the playing surface,
our upgraded courts will include new lines, nets, and net posts.
We
appreciate everyone's patience and understand that the clay tennis courts offer
a valuable amenity to many of our Members. We look forward to providing
each of you with a significantly upgraded experience very soon.
